Founded in 2016 by Cheryl Bower, Toronto based real estate professional and lifelong musical super enthusiast. Having taken part in various stage and musical projects over the past 40 years, Cheryl has a keen understanding of the benefits of singing in a young persons life. In an effort to bring her dream of children's rock choirs into reality, she sought out a musical partner to run the choirs. Her search led her to Toronto based musical director Anthony Bastienon, a perfect choice for the job. Anthony has years of professional musical director experience combined with a lifetime of small choir experience in his own community, first as a participant and later as the leader. Voices Rock Canada (Toronto edition) is lucky to have Anthony as their main educator and choir leader.

•One big group .. Adult and kids groups

•No audition required choir size approx. 10-16 members

•Each session is 12 weeks - rehearsals are 75 min per week

•Rehearsals use piano and backing tracks

•Showcase features a full rock band in a full sized theatre

•Choirs are combined for the showcase performance to help promote a true team spirit in the final performance

Voices Rock Canada is an independently run program that we love. It is professional level coaching for amateur level participants. It’s fun but challenging at the same time. Groups gain not only singing ability, they gain confidence and musical knowledge, all while enjoying a highly social weekly activity. For kids and adults alike, there is nothing like it.
